The 39th Kosmima International Jewellery Exhibition to take place from October 18–20 at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center

Over 70 companies and international brands will participate across a 3,000 m2. exhibition space in Halls 8, 9, and 10

The glittering 39th Kosmima International Exhibition For Jewellery, Clocks And Watches, Precious Stones, Machinery, Equipment opens its gates on Saturday, October 18, at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center, reaffirming its role as a benchmark event for jewellery in Southeastern Europe.

More than 70 businesses from Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Turkey, along with international brands from Italy, Japan, Hong Kong, Switzerland, France, and Germany, will showcase the latest trends in jewellery and watches ahead of the holiday season, occupying 3,000 sq.m. in Halls 8, 9, and 10.

The press conference presenting the exhibition was opened by the President of TIF–HELEXPO, Mr. Tasos Tzikas, who described the jewellery sector as “strategic for the Greek economy,” highlighting the organization’s long-standing support for creators and professionals in the field, in close cooperation with the Panhellenic Federation of Artisans, Silversmiths, Jewelers and Watchmakers (POVAKO).

The General Director of TIF–HELEXPO, Mr. Alexis Tsaxirlis, emphasized that “Kosmima, has been a true gem for TIF for four decades now,” recalling that the very first event in 1986 introduced innovations to Greece, even in the area of exhibition security. “Our long-term relationship with POVAKO has built a solid foundation of quality and trust, making TIF–HELEXPO’s jewellery exhibitions indispensable for Greece and the Balkans,” he noted.

The President of POVAKO, Mr. Petros Kalpakidis, stated that “without the support of the current TIF–HELEXPO administration, Kosmima would not exist,” stressing the exhibition’s business orientation and ongoing growth. Despite the significant rise in the prices of precious metals, he pointed out that “Greeks still love gold and jewellery.”

He also announced that the Thessaloniki Association of Jewellers and Watchmakers celebrates its 100th anniversary and will present a commemorative publication at a special event during Kosmima.

As part of this year’s exhibition, the 36th Panhellenic Jewellery Design Competition, co-organized by POVAKO and TIF–HELEXPO, was also held. This year’s theme, “Water: Flowing Hues – Drops of Luxury,” invited creators to draw inspiration from the element that links movement, clarity, and life with the artistry and brilliance of jewellery. The participating creations will be showcased during the exhibition.

The official opening of Kosmima will take place on Saturday, October 18, at 18:00, at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center (entrance from Hall 10), by the Deputy Minister of Development, Mr. Stavros Kalafatis.

Kosmima will run from October 18 to 20, with opening hours:
Saturday & Sunday: 10:00–20:00
Monday: 11:00–19:00
